PLEASE NOTE
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Being approved for SCDDSN eligibility does not guarantee that specific services will be received as these will be dependent upon documentation of the need and availability of a program or service or availability of a program/service opening. In the absence of a program/service opening individuals may be placed on a waiting list for that program/service.
Furthermore, if approved for SCDDSN eligibility, and there is a need for placement in a SCDDSN-sponsored residential setting, such a placement will depend upon demonstration of a need for placement and upon the availability of a bed in a SCDDSN-sponsored residential setting most appropriate to the consumer's need.
SCDDNS may bill private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and/or any other third party payer for any covered services provided by SCDDSN and no family member or legar guardian will be held responsible for cost not covered by that payer.
